Қазақы мұсылмандық дәстүрдің генезисі: монография

The monograph is devoted to the study of the spread of the Muslim cultural and civilizational factor in the history of Kazakhstan in the Middle Ages and its reflection in public life on an interdisciplinary basis, based on the concept of "regional Islam". In Kazakh society, the data of national and foreign historical and ethnographic sources confirming the observance of the rules of religion are widely used. The issues of synthesis of Hanafi Sharia and Tasawwuf (Sufism, Sufism) with nomadic culture, the phasing of the spread of Islam in the Eurasian steppes are discussed.
Due to the fact that the Islamic factor is the systemic spiritual and ideological foundation of Kazakh culture, the author proposes a new historical concept - "Kazakh Muslim tradition." In addition to art and culture, its content includes the politics and ideology of the khans, many social principles and customs. The monograph is intended not only for professional historians, ethnologists, philosophers and theologians, but also for many readers interested in Islamic issues in Kazakh history.
